According to Leake and Warren (2009), researchers show that university students who spend less time on Facebook are more likely to perform better than those who spend more time on Facebook because they are studying less. This is shown by a fall in their cumulative grade point average and exam scores.

ReplyDeleteAccording to Leake and Warren (2009), the findings of researchers studying the impact of Facebook usage on university students' achievements in the so-called "Ohio report" revealed that students who do not use Facebook tend to perform better than those who use the social media site. The negative influence was apparent in terms of both cumulative grade point average and exam scores.
